To set the scene, "North of Bodotria" glimpses into dark, cut-throat corruption of the Roman Empire, seen through the eyes of VICTOR LIGUSTUS, who, having lost most of his family to the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, goes on to forge a career in the Roman army, honing his skills as a warrior and making some tough moral choices that teach harsh lessons about loyalty. This pilot episode follows Victor’s journey as he is recruited into the Roman army and sent to Northern Britannia to train for the final push into ancient Scotland. Without appreciating it, he becomes an innocent pawn in other people’s games. The teaser is about the main character, in a dark mood, reflecting on those experiences.
